Timber and I met at work when he started in June of 2005. I had my eye on him from the first day, and finally had my chance that September when we ran into each other one night at a bar in Seattle. With the help of a few drinks to ease my nerves, I approached him, and the rest is history.
Our relationship is put to the test every November – Timber is a Washington State Cougar and I am a Washington Husky. We place a bet on the Apple Cup every year with a nice dinner on the line, and I am happy to say that the Huskies have pulled out a win for me the last two years (and I know they will win this year, too, so you’d better be ready, Timber!).
